Historical Day for Soaps

The first true gay male kiss will happen on today's episode of As The World Turns (and continue on Monday). Men have kissed before but never in a romantic way like this.

In honor of this historic event, here's a run down of the media blitz that's been happening this week:
On Monday, TV Guide Canada called the Noah and Luke (aka Nuke) story this week's "Best of the Best".

On Wednesday, Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann appeared on Entertainment Tonight.

That same day, Van Hansis updated his blog by answering several questions from fans on vanhansis.net.

On Thursday, AfterElton.com published a great interview with Jake Silbermann.

The August 28 edition of Soap Opera Weekly has a feature on the kiss.

In the September 4 edition of CBS Soaps in Depth, Van and Jake are interviewed about their storyline.
