In the past five years, As The World Turns has fired or let walk such talented African American actors such as Tamara Tunie, Paul Taylor, Peter Parros and Lamman Rucker, among others. Now comes word that Elena Goode has been fired as Jade Taylor. She was the last remaining person of color on contract with the show. That leaves recurring biracial hunk Kenneth Franklin as the only actor left.
Why can't ATWT get it right for minority characters?
