EastEnders fans cooing over the baby found by Dot Branning in her childhood church this week will be interested to hear that the little boy would in fact be more at home in a synagogue.
Twin brothers Dylan and Tyler Woolf, from Radlett, are playing play the newest addition to the BBC1 soap Tomas, the abandoned child of an illegal immigrant.
The boys were selected by producers after an agency sent pictures of them to the soap.
They will follow in the footsteps of other Jewish actors who have trod the boards of Albert Square including Robert Kazinsky who plays Shaun Slater, Tracey-Ann Oberman (Chrissie Watts) and Leonard Fenton who played Dr Legg.
