From the Chicago Sun Times:
Actress Victoria Rowell, in town recently filming "Of Boys and Men" with Robert Townsend and Angela Bassett, shopped at Lulu's vintage store on Lincoln Avenue, where she bought dresses and jewelry to wear on her upcoming book tour hyping The Women Who Raised Me, about her life in foster homes and her adoption.
Rowell, who was a guest Wednesday on The View and starred for many years on TV's The Young and the Restless and Diagnosis Murder, will be back in town on May 24 to host a luncheon at the Knickerbocker Hotel to benefit her Rowell Foster Children's Positive Plan. She will also do a book-signing that same day at Borders on North Michigan.
