Kristanna Loken (ex-Dani, As The World Turns) gets to play a woman with amazing healing powers in this new Sci-Fi series. This may strike two levels of déjà vu: The character sounds like the cheerleader from "Heroes," and Sci-Fi already presented a "Painkiller Jane" telemovie, starring Emmanuelle Vaugier, two years ago. But "Painkiller" is based on a comic book that far predates "Heroes," and this new series has an even darker feel than the original telemovie.
