Emmy winning actress Tamara Braun returns to General Hospital this week. She won't be playing Carly this time around. Instead, she is taking on a new character, Kim Nero, Oscar's mother. Kim's first scene is with (who else?) Sonny and Carly (Maurice Benard and Laura Wright).
"Our lives will never be the same," Oscar tells Josslyn after they hear Kim ring the doorbell.
"You must be Carly," Kim says, greeting Carly, Sonny and Michael at the door.

Braun told Soap Opera Digest she was ready to return to GH.
"The timing and the storyline and the character seemed right — and here I am!" she said.
