1979: The Edge of Night's Jody was harassed.
1994: General Hospital's Lois made a surprise entrance.
1994: One Life to Live's Marty was furious Todd was free.

On this date in...

1960: On Young Doctor Malone, Dr. Jerry Malone (William Prince) drove the shaken Marsha home after her traumatic discovery of her husband, Dr. Ted Powell (Peter Brandon), with another woman. Marsha was heartened to see Ted's car back at their house, but her dreams of reconciliation were crushed by her errant husband's desire for a divorce.

1960: On The Right to Happiness, Carolyn Allen (Claudia Morgan) and her husband Lee discussed the sad fate of Ann Braden, whose son Dick had just been sentenced to prison. Mrs. Braden had left her husband, Victor, because his involvement in Dick's trial. Ann returnd home to her daughter Kitty to attempt a reconciliation with Victor, only to reconsider when she saw him coldly smashing a record made by Dick, an aspiring pianist.

1966: On Dark Shadows, Victoria Winters (Alexandra Moltke) went to the Evans Cottage to have dinner with Sam (David Ford) and Maggie (Kathryn Leigh Scott) Evans. Victoria was troubled by the painting of the woman that looked like her.



1977: On Guiding Light, Ben McFarren (Stephen Yates) told Eve Stapleton (Janet Grey) that he wanted to marry her.

1980: On The Edge of Night, Elliot Dorn (Lee Godart) continued to sexually harass Jody Travis (Lori Loughlin).



1994: On General Hospital, Lois Cerulo (Rena Sofer) jumped out of Katherine Bell's (Mary Beth Evans) birthday cake.



1994: On One Life to Live, Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) gloated to Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell) that he was "free as a bird."



2005: Kyle Lowder aired for the final time as Brady Black in Days of our Lives.

2008: On The Young and the Restless, Daniel Romalotti invited Colleen Carlton his opening, following them spending the night together.



2010: On the next to last episode of As the World Turns, Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann) said goodbye to Luke Snyder (Van Hansis) as he left for Los Angeles. "Maybe one day soon, when and if you're ready, you can get on a plane, and I'll be waiting," Noah told Luke before giving him one last kiss and walking away.



2010: On Days of our Lives, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) buried Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) alive.

2012: General Hospital star John Ingle died at age 84. In addition to his role as Edward Quartermiane on General Hospital, Ingle also played Mickey Horton on Days of our Lives. He also made guest appearances in primetime soaps Dallas, Knots Landing, Melrose Place and Beverly Hills, 90210.
