1967: Dark Shadows' Maggie saw Sarah outside the Old House.
1984: All My Children's Edna didn't want Dottie to see Tad.
1995: One Life to Live's Dorian was up to no good with Viki.
2009: EastEnders' Christian and Syed shared a kiss.

On this date in...

1964: On Another World, Missy Palmer (Carol Roux) had dinner with the Matthews family.

1967: On Dark Shadows, Willie (John Karlen) returned to the Old House to check on Maggie (Kathryn Leigh Scott), who would rather be dead of starvation than become Barnabas' vampire bride. Alone again, Maggie heard Sarah (Sharon Smyth) singing. She hurried to the door, and after several moments, Sarah finally spoke to her. She warned Maggie not to tell David she saw her.



1978: On One Life to live, Becky told Richard her whole sad story including killing Luke's son, Jessie, after he raped her (or so Becky was led to believe).

1980: On The Edge of Night, "Kirk Michaels" (Tony Craig) called Emily (Margo McKenna) but April (Terry Davis) answered the phone.



1984: On All My Children, Edna (Sandy Gabriel) couldn't believe Dottie (Tasia Valenza) still wanted to see Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight).

1986: On Another World, Cass Winthrop (Stephen Schnetzer) was desperate to escape from Cecile DePoulignac (Nancy Frangione).



1987: On Santa Barbara, Mason (Lane Davies) visited Julia (Nancy Lee Grahn) in the hospital, soon after she had given birth to Samantha. The promo below teases the story: W"hen Julia has Mason's baby, will he leave his wife to marry her?"

1995: On One Life to Live, Tina (Krista Tesreau) demanded Dorian (Robin Strasser) tell her what she was up to with Viki (Erika Slezak).



1998: On The Young and the Restless, Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) was suspicious of Jill (Jess Walton) snooping around the Chancellor mansion.

2006: On Guiding Light, Jonathan (Tom Pelphrey) shocked everyone at Lizzie (Marcy Rylan) and Coop's (John Driscoll) wedding by announcing that he was the father of Lizzie's baby. Below is the end of the previous (Friday) episode where Jonathan made the shocking claim.



2009: On EastEnders, during an important catering function, business partners, Christian Clarke (John Partridge) and Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia), clashed over his sexuality. Later, Christian confronted Zainab's son and his supposed friend, Syed (Marc Elliott), over his lack of support, leading to a surprise kiss between the pair and the start of their secret affair.
