This summer, Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, unites fankind with a Monday night programming block of back-to-back episodes of fan-favorite shows, "Shadowhunters" and "Stitchers." The action-packed night will kick off on MONDAY, JUNE 5, with the summer premiere of "Shadowhunters" (8:00 - 9:01 p.m. ET) and the season three premiere of "Stitchers" (9:01 - 10:02 p.m. ET). Both episodes will also be available on the Freeform app and Freeform.com (same date and time).

In the "Shadowhunters" summer premiere, Shadowhunters and Downworlders are picking up the pieces after Valentine's attack at the Institute. Downworlder numbers are down and the different packs and clans debate on what they must do to survive. With Valentine in custody, the Institute is on high alert, but Jace carries the heaviest burden of all due to his part in igniting the Soul Sword and the secret he is keeping from Clary. But Jace and the Shadowhunters don't have much time to mourn as a greater demon is loose in Manhattan.

Meanwhile, Izzy struggles on the road to recovery when she encounters Sebastian, a mysterious stranger, as Simon tries to understand his new Daylighter status.

Will Tudor guest stars in "Mea Maxima Culpa." The episode is written by Michael Reisz and directed by Matt Hastings.

"Stitchers" picks up from the dramatic cliffhanger finale where Kirsten Clark's life lays in the balance as the Stitchers team works to bounce her back into the real world after she became trapped in a stitch attempting to find her mother. Fueled by his love for Kirsten, Cameron finds a way to bring her back to reality, but it could cost them their relationship. Meanwhile, the Stitchers lab is on lockdown, leaving an anxious Linus unable to check on his father's condition after surgery. But, as the team prepares to be reassigned for breaking protocol, NSA Director Mitchell Blair (guest star John Billingsley, "Star Trek: Enterprise") surprises everyone by demanding an emergency stitch that yields shocking new information.

C. Thomas Howell also guest stars in "Out of the Shadows." The episode was written by Jeffrey Alan Schechter and directed by J. Miller Tobin.
