1961: ATWT's Penny wasn't sure about Ellen's custody case.
1967: Dark Shadows' Barnabas met Roger and Carolyn.
1978: Faith and Tom were married on Ryan's Hope.
1983: All My Children's Angie and Jesse enjoyed married life.

On this date in...

1961: On As the World Turns, Penny (Rosemary Prinz) told Ellen (Patricia Bruder) the Bakers had extended the lease of the house she and Jeff lived in. Penny question whether Ellen should continue her custody battle, especially after Mitchell Dru told her she didn't have a case. Later, Ellen asked Don Hughes for help with her case.



1967: On Dark Shadows, Roger (Louis Edmonds) and Carolyn (Nancy Barrett) met Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid).



1970: On Another World, Ada (Constance Ford) warned Rachel (Robin Strasser) she had better hang onto to Russ, but Rachel wanted Steve.

1975: Days of our Lives expanded to 60 minutes each weekday. NBC aired a successful one hour special episode of Days on November 20, 1974, to test the longer episode format with its audience.

1978: On Ryan's Hope, Dr. Faith Coleridge (Karen Morris Gowdy) married Tom Desmond (Michael McGreevy) so that Tom could garner his green card.

1980: On The Edge of Night, Emily (Margo McKenna) tried to have sex with Draper.



1980: Stephen Brooks debuted as Joshua Fallon on Days of our Lives.

1983: On All My Children, Angie (Debbi Morgan) and Jesse (Darnell Williams) basked in the afterglow the morning after their wedding.



1987: On Santa Barbara, Sophia (Judith McConnell) was devastated when C.C. (Jed Allan) told her Eden was dead after her plane had blown up in mid-air. Meanwhile, Cruz (A Martinez) took a helicopter to the crash site and put a rose in the snow.

1994: On Another World, Jake (Tom Eplin) asked Lorna (Robin Christopher) out on a date.



1997: On Sunset Beach, Gregory Richards (Sam Behrens) held his wife, Olivia (Lesley-Anne Down), who was upset over her betrayal of their daughter, Caitlin (Vanessa Dorman). Meanwhile, Annie Douglas (Sarah Buxton) found Meg Cummings (Susan Ward) and Ben Evans (Clive Robertson) asleep together in the wine cellar.



1997: On General Hospital, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) managed to stop Emily (Amber Tamblyn) from jumping of the roof and brought her back into the house. Ned and Jax realized that Emily was on drugs and Emily collapsed when Jason arrived. Jason administered CPR to Emily which kept her alive until the paramedics arrived.



2010: On The Bold and the Beautiful, Lt. Baker interviewed Stephanie about Beth's accident and cleared her of all wrong-doing. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) still blamed Stephanie for her mother's death.



2011: On Hollyoaks, it was Villain vs. Villain when Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) demanded that Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan, Jr.) turn over the money that Warren thought was rightfully his from their last criminal venture. In doing so, Warren threatened to not only harm Brendan's secret lover, Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), but let the whole village know that Brendan was gay. But in typical Brendan fashion, he immediately turned the tables on Warren by making a shock move.
