'Full Circle'...Fully Packed! Philece Sampler, Nancy Lee Grahn, Alex Wyse and More Attend West Coast Premiere!

Nelson Aspen performed for a full house at the West Coast premiere of "Full Circle."

I'm happy to report that the West Coast premiere of my cabaret show, "Full Circle," packed 'em in at Bar Fedora in Downtown Los Angeles last weekend. It's always fun to share my showbiz shenanigans through story and song, but I had an especially love-filled room in this beautiful venue...with a strong connection to my personal history in the soap genre.

While my special guest star, Deven Green, has her own ties to the soap world thanks to her enormously popular "Welcome to My Home" parody videos, a few familiar faces were spotted in the audience and even participated in the performance merry making.

My friend of 30 years, Philece Sampler (Rituals, Days of our Lives, Another World) turned up and joined me for a rendition of the 1980s "Another World" theme song, earning a cheer from the crowd at the suggestion that her character Renee DuMonde (DiMera) make a return to Salem on Days of our Lives.

Funnyman Kaore Bonnell turned up with one of daytime's finest talents, General Hospital Emmy winner Nancy Lee Grahn, whom I hadn't seen in many years and she looked radiant and graciously played along with the TV tributes.

Mark Damon Espinoza, heartthrob Jesse Vasquez on Beverly Hills, 90210 and frequent TV guest star, was there, as was a young film star on the Hollywood Hot List, Callan McAuliffe (I am Four and The Great Gatsby). McAuliffe tried to stump me with my "1 Degree of Separation" challenge....he couldn't.

Super soap agent Michael Einfeld brought his extremely polite and friendly young client Alex Wyse (Broadway's "Spring Awakening" among his credits), who has a new gig on The Bold and The Beautiful as Saul. Michael gave me the skinny on Heather Tom's new directorial film project, Serenity, which is hitting the film festival circuit.

And my college pal Monica Horan, well loved for her long running role as Amy Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, was especially inspiring in our tribute to the life of the late, great Mary Tyler Moore. Monica will be my special guest star when "Full Circle" plays in Philadelphia this April, so join us there if you can!

A big thanks to everyone who attended for the enthusiastic support! It's great when the connections made through the colliding worlds of theater, film and television come together for a night of love and laughter!
