1958: Australia's first television soap opera, Autumn Affair, premiered on Network Seven station ATN-7. The series was canceled in less than a year..

1979: On As the World Turns, Dr. John Dixon (Larry Bryggman) showed up at Kim Stewart's house where her step-daughter, Betsy, was having a party with loud music and friends drinking wine.



1980: On The Edge of Night, Raven Swift (Sharon Gabet) crashed April and Draper Scott's party and slapped her ex, Logan Swift (Joe Lambie).



1985: On Ryan's Hope, Siobhan Ryan (Marg Helgenberger) married Max DuBujak (Daniel Pilon).



1986: On Days of our Lives, Pete Jannings (Michael Leon), Amy Cooper (Elizabeth Keifer) and Tod Chandler (David Wallace) tried to help a sick Melissa Anderson (Lisa Trusel).

1988: On Another World, Felicia Gallant (Linda Dano) married Mitch Blake (William Gray Espy) at the racetrack.



1988: On Guiding Light, Rick Bauer (Michael O'Leary) married Meredith Reade (Nicolette Goulet).



1990: On All My Children, Travis (Larkin Malloy) and Barbara Montgomery (Susan Pratt) spoke to a specialist (Irving Allen Lee) about Barbara being artificially inseminated.



1991: On The Young and the Restless, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) visited Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) to try to find out what Molly told Lauren during their visit.

1994: Actor Raul Julia died at age 54. He played Miguel Garcia in Love of Life early in his career.

2003: On The Young and the Restless, Lily Winters asked her mother, Drucilla (Victoria Rowell), not to tell her father, Neil (Kristoff St. John), that the had sex with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart).

2003: On The Bold and the Beautiful, Nick (Jack Wagner) wanted Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to forget they ever had sex now that Ridge (Ronn Moss) had returned. Sally (Darlene Conley) was moved that so many fans turned out for a candlelight service for Macy.

2006: Future Glee star Matthew Morrison debuted as Adam (Hughes) Munson on As the World Turns. He would leave in late November due to a "scheduling conflict" and was replaced by Matt Cavenaugh.

2007: Farah Fath debuted as Gigi Morasco in One Life to Live.



2011: On General Hospital, Dr. Lisa Niles (Brianna Brown) was deteremined to infect Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) with the HIV virus. Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) grabbed her just as Lisa was about to stab Patrick with a syringe.
