1966: Days of our Lives' Julie wanted to stay in Salem.
1975: Susan Harney debuted as Alice on Another World
1987: As the World Turns' Holden opened up to Lily.
2009: General Hospital's Jason and Sam made love.

On this date in...

1966: On Days of our Lives, Julie Olson (Charla Doherty) told her grandmother, Alice Horton (Frances Reid), that she didn't want to live in Europe.

1971: On The Doctors, Karen tried to convince Matt she wasn't as boring as he thought.



1975: On Another World, Alice and Sally (Cathy Greene) returned from the Ordway Farm with Emma (Tresa Hughes) in tow. Susan Harney debuted as the new Alice Matthews Frame, replacing Jacqueline Courtney, who had played Alice since Another World premiered in 1964.

1978: One One Life to Live, Pat Ashley (Jacqueline Courtney) invited Roger Landover (Steven Bolster) in for a nightcap, and they ended up talking about Pat's late son, Brian.



1980: Richard Guthrie aired for the final time as David Banning on Days of our Lives.

1981: On Guiding Light, Morgan (Kristen Vigard) and Kelly Nelson (John Wesley Shipp) began their honeymoon.



1983: On Ryan's Hope, Delia (Ilene Kristen) wasn't happy with Jillian and Frank's plans for Little John.



1987: On As the World Turns, Holden (Jon Hensley) opened up to Lily (Martha Byrne) in Wyoming.



1996: On All My Children, trapped in the vault at the mausoleum, Marian Colby (Jennifer Bassey) began to lose hope.

1998: On Port Charles, Frank Scanlon (Jay Pickett) hears Lark Madison (Anastasia Horne) scream, and finds Lark kneeling beside her dead mother, Suzanne.



2009: On General Hospital, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) made love.
