1975: Another World's Iris took a bottle of pills. 1995: Days
of our Lives' Sami fainted at Austin and Carrie's wedding.
1997: An ultrasound couldn't find Kevin and Lucy's baby's
heartbeat on Port Charles. 2010: As the World Turns'
Barbara had a clown vision of James.

On this date in...

1969: On The Doctors, Dr. Matt Powers (James Pritchett) clashed with his son, Mike (Peter Burnell), over Mike's recent behavior. Later, Mike apologized and asked Matt for advice in dealing with his feelings for Nancy Bennet (Nancy Donohue).

1975: On Another World, Iris (Beverlee McKinsey) downed a bottle of sleeping pills. After taking the pills Iris said to herself, "Daddy... oh, Daddy... everything is going to be all right now... Daddy."

1975: On Ryan's Hope, Bob Reid (Earl Hindman) told the police captain that Frank said the word "push" when he woke up. Bob was convinced Frank's fall was not an accident.



1980: On Guiding Light, Ben and Amanda McFarren discussed his new job opportunity.

1992: Richard Burgi debuted as Philip Collier in Days of our Lives.  Burgi recently joined the cast of General Hospital as Paul Hornsby.

1994: On All My Children, Pine Valley dealt with the aftermath of the tornado.



1995: On Days of our Lives, Sami (Alison Sweeney) fainted at Austin (Austin Peck) and Carrie's (Christie Clark) wedding.

1997: On Port Charles, the doctor told Lucy (Lynn Herring) that she needed a Dilation and curettage (D&C) surgical procedure.



1997: On Another World, Dana Kramer and Cass Winthrop (Stephen Schnetzer) made opening arguments at Nick Hudson's trial.  Nick was charged with raping Toni Burrell.

1997: Jensen Ackles debuted as Eric Brady in Days of our Lives.

1998: On Guiding Light, Blake (Elizabeth Keifer) was in the hospital claiming that she could not remember anything about the rape -- and paralyzed by Ross's accidentally shooting her in an effort to save her from Ben. Ross was arrested for attempted murder, and Rick offered to care for their children, much to Hart's dismay. Dinah suspected that Blake willingly submitted to Ben's advances and warned her to implicate Ben in the rape in order to get Ross released from jail. At the hospital visiting Blake, Holly (Maureen Garrett) remembered her past with Roger (Michael Zaslow).

1998: Don Diamont returned to The Young and the Restless as Brad Carlton, after leaving the show in 1996. At the end of the episode Jack (Peter Bergman) walked into his office and found Brad at his desk. "Hello Jack," Brad said. "Surprised to see me?"

2006: Singer Mary J. Blige made a guest appearance on One Life to Live.



2010: On As the World Turns, when Barbara (Colleen Zenk) told Chuckles the Clown she needed to hear his voice, Chuckles became James Stenbeck (Anthony Herrera) who said to her, "Hello, Barbara. Miss me?
