Daytime Ratings: 'The Young and the Restless' and 'Days of our Lives' Hit New Lows in Women 18-49 Demo

The Live + Same Day daytime ratings are in for April 18-22, 2016. According to Nielsen, The Young and the Restless was only watched by 600,000 women 18-49 years old, a new all-time low in that demographic. Days of our Lives also hit a new record low of 384,000.

Below is a breakdown of the daytime Nielsen ratings for the soaps by category:

Women 18-49 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 600,000 (-71,000/-247,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 542,00 (-12,000/-27,000)
3. General Hospital 489,000 (-15,000/-36,000)
4. Days of our Lives 384,000 (-30,000/-7,000)

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 164,000 (-38,000/-84,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 162,000 (+3,000/+1,000)
2. General Hospital 146,000 (+9,000/-38,000)
4. Days of our Lives 97,000 (-5,000/-2,000)

Women 25-54 Viewers
