It looks like ABC soap opera
General Hospital is recasting the role of Jason and Elizabeth's son, Jake. The mother of James Nigbor, who returned to the show last year when it was revealed Jake was alive, broke the news on Twitter, saying, " I'm sorry but he has been recasted :(. Thanks for all your love and support. Thank you to all the fans for loving my boy ❤️❤️ "
James originally joined the cast of
GH in 2007. along with his brother, Edward. He played the role solo from 2009-2011, when the character was declared brain dead after a hit-and-run accident. James previously played Jack Marone on CBS daytime drama
The Bold and the Beautiful.
General Hospital has not yet named a replacement for Nigbor.
