Ratings: 'Days of our Lives' Hits 18-Month Demo High, Averages 2.9 Million Viewers

NBC soap opera Days of our Lives has generated its highest weeklong average rating in the women 18-49 demographic in 18 months, with a 0.91 rating, and its most-watched week in two years, with an average 2.914 million persons.

For the week of January 4-8, Days of our Lives (0.91 rating, 6 share among women 18-49, 0.49 rating among women 18-34) tied for #5 among network daytime series in the women 18-49 demographic and tied for #8 in the women 18-34 race.

The 0.91 rating is the highest for a week of Days of our Lives since July 14-18, 2014 (0.93). In total viewers, “Days’” 2.914 million persons is the show’s biggest overall audience since the week of January 6-10, 2014 (2.991 million).

Versus the same week last year, Days was up +11% in the women 18-49 category (0.91 vs. 0.82), up +11% in the women 18-34 demo (0.49 vs. 0.44) and up +19% in total viewers (2.914 million vs. 2.452 million).

In “most current” results for the 2015-16 season thus far, Days of our Lives ranks #6 among network daytime series in the women 18-49 category and #7 in the women 18-34 demo. Season to date, Days of our Lives has grown +3% versus last season in total viewers (2.869 million vs. 2.777 million, “most current”).

Ratings reflect “live plus same day” data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of “live plus seven day” figures except for the two most recent weeks, which are “live plus same day.”
