Crossroads creator Hazel Adair dies at age 95
British soap opera pioneer Hazel Adair, who helped create Crossroads, Compact and the UK's first daily soap Sixpenny Corner, has passed away at age 95. She created Crossroads with Peter Ling, based in a motel in the fictional village of King's Oak near Birmingham, in 1964 for ITV company ATV. It was watched by 18 million viewers in the 1970s, but was axed in the 1980s after 24 years on the air.

Red Rock is coming to Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime has struck a deal to buy the rights for Red Rock, TV3’s garda soap. The deal, which is understood to be worth more than €1m, covers 80 episodes of the acclaimed serial, which launched in January this year. Under the agreement, the on-demand video service can show the episodes in the US over four years under its Amazon Original brand.

The mom-to-be, who currently stars on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, revealed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a pic with her husband and a group of friends that she captioned, "Amazing time at our surprise baby shower yesterday. Oh, PS - I'm pregnant."
