Kristian Alfonso Renews 'Days of our Lives' Contact, Will Stick Around as Hope Brady

Kristian Alfonso, who has played Hope Williams Brady on NBC soap opera Days of our Lives since 1983, has signed a new contract to remain with the show.

"I am excited and thrilled to be asked to continue to be a part of Days of our Lives," she told Soap Opera Digest.

The length of the new contract has not yet been revealed.

With Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) dying of a terminal brain tumor, it looks like Hope is headed for a romance with Rafe Hernandez, who has slowly fallen in love with her while being one of her best friends.

    Watching Bo die of a brain tumor seems like a never ending terminal bore. I may die of boredom before Bo dies of a tumor. And good call whoever told him not to grab the front of his head that his cerebrum is at the back of his head.
