Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck welcomed three-time Emmy winner Ellen Wheeler to his team on Monday with a video of the former Another World and All My Children star addressing his team in Dallas.

Beck ran into Wheeler backstage at a FreedomWorks event this summer in Las Vegas, where she had been serving as Director of Messaging for the organization that promotes "free markets and individual liberty," and "a desire for less government, lower taxes, and more economic freedom."

"I finally have a partner that can take all the things we are working on and tie them together with action," Beck wrote in a Facebook post about Wheeler. "I am so proud of my team and all we have created. But now, it's time to turn the machine on and really do everything we have wanted to do. Get involved and roll up our sleeves and fight on the front lines."

Wheeler won Daytime Emmys for her brilliant work portraying twins Marley and Victoria on Another World, and another for her work as AIDS patient Cindy on All My Children. She later began directing, and was eventually named executive producer of Guiding Light. The show was named Outstanding Drama Series at the 2007 Daytime Emmys (tied with The Young and the Restless) but was canceled by CBS two years later.

When I last spoke with Wheeler in November 2013, she was still relishing the family time that she enjoyed since Guiding Light went off the air in 2009.

"Even though there have been some incredibly wonderful and gracious offers to go do other things and be other places, I really just wanted to relish that time," she said.

Wheeler and Beck also worked together back in 2013 on a volunteer effort to clean parks in Washington, D.C.

"We came up with this idea when we saw the man from South Carolina come out and mow the lawn. We thought all of us could do the same thing," Wheeler said at the time of the event, organized by FreedomWorks, Tea Party Patriots and Glenn Beck. "Congress may try to shutdown the government but they can’t shutdown the people."

She's also appeared on the Glenn Beck radio program providing information on Common Core, federal education standards, and the rights and responsibilities of parents in the education of their children.

Today the staff met someone I have just hired to run content for everything I do. She will work by my side, helping me...
