Former 'The Bay' Producer Andre Bauth Charged with Attempted Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Andre Bauth
One of the Daytime Emmy winning producers of The Bay, Andre Bauth, has been charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Bauth, whose real name is Andre Salamán Bautista, pleaded not guilty on Monday.

Earlier this month, Bautista was accused of stabbing his roommate in their Studio City apartment. The report was filed on September 8 and he turned himself in to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City on September 17.

Bail was set at $550,000 and he is due back in court for a bail motion hearing on September 24.

The case is still under investigation. However, if Bautista is found guilty he faces a maximum of 13 years in a state prison.

It appears his involvement with The Bay was very limited.
