Watch 'The Young and the Restless' Star Tracey Bregman's Appearance on 'Home & Family' (Video)

"My first job was on Days of our Lives playing her [Deidre Hall's]
step-daughter," Bregman explained. "Before I got the job my mom was a
huge Days of our Lives watcher, so when I got the job, my job was to
come in and break up my favorite couple, Don and Marlena. Deidre is one
of the great people of all-time.  She took me under her wing, was so
extraordinary to me, and taught me everything."
The Young and the Restless Emmy winner Tracey Bregman was a guest on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family on Tuesday. She talked about her career, including seeing a numerologist when her job prospects slowed down at age 14.

"I had been on Days of our Lives for two and a half years," Bregman explained, joking, "at 14, things can slow down as they do."

It was adding the "e" to Tracy and a middle initial that saved her career!

Bregman played Donna Craig on Days from 1978 to 1980 before joining Y&R as Lauren Fenmore.

"I thought it would be greatest summer gig of all-time," Bregman said about her start at Y&R.

Asked to describe her Y&R co-star and love interest Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) in one word, Bregman chose "awesome."
