Stacy Haiduk
Stacy Haiduk is returning to CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless as Patty Williams, Paul's sister and Jack's ex-wife.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Haiduk will report to the studio next week and begin airing in September.

Tammy Taylor originated the role of Patty in 1980. Lilibet Stern played the character next, followed by Andrea Evans, when the character exited and remained off the canvas for more than two decades. Haiduk took over the role in February 2009. Patty was last seen in the Fairview Sanitarium in September 2012.

Since her last The Young and the Restless appearance, Haiduk's credits include True Blood, Chosen and Twisted, a series Y&R head writer/executive producer Chuck Pratt Jr. worked on.

  1. Actually Tammy Taylor originated the role of Patty in 1980 and was then replaced by Lilibet Stern.

  2. Crazy Patty seems like the type of character Chuck Pratt would love.

  3. I never had a doubt that Patty would be back when Pratt took over. He likes crazy women who obsess over men. It must make plotting easier when you don't need character motivation-- "she did it because she's CRAAAAAAAZY!"
