  1. Glad Taraji P. Henson was nominated for Lead Actress but EMPIRE deserved MANY, MANY more nominations! Terence Howard and Jussie Smollet were amazing. The show was the most entertaining show of the year and deserved a Best Drama nomination.

Glad to see Tatiana Maslany, but she really should have been nominated in previous years (and won.) Orphan Black hasn't been as good since it's first season when TM should've won the Emmy.

Like all of the actresses from The Leftovers should've been nominated.

It would have been nice if Anna Clumsky had been nominated for her work on Veep.

How does Key of "Key & Peele" get a nomination but not the Peele??? It's a two-man show and neither one outshines the other!

    1. The Emmys are never going to recognize Empire, just like they never appreciated the best of Knots Landing, Dallas, Dynasty, etc. The cynic in me thinks this will be Taraji's only nomination for Empire even if she's amazing (she will be) every season. It's too bad there seems to be few available spots each year because some shows/actors are a given no matter what.

In addition to Taraji, I'm expecially excited about nominations for Viola, Cicely, Khandi and Allison (and Beau Bridges).

    2. Edited to add: Jane The Virgin and its incredible cast should have been recognized, particularly Gina Rodriguez for Lead Actress!!!

    3. OMG, I totally forgot about Jane The Virgin. Definitely a snub!

    4. I think Gina Rodriguez is one of the most watchable people on television.

  2. Really disappointed that great Sci-Fi series like 12 Monkeys and Extant were totally snubbed, but I suppose that's to be expected. BTW Drunk History was a pretty funny show...hope it wins the category.
