While attending University of Arizona, he visited San Diego for spring break and was discovered by a photographer while walking the beach. That led to his first photo shoot with International Male, which kicked off a very successful modeling career. He's been called the "#1 Fitness Model of all Time" (Men's Workout), the "Fitness Model of the Year" (Fitness Rx) and declared to have the "BEST ABS in the Business" (American Health & Fitness).
He later he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and began studying with acclaimed acting coach Howard Fine.
Hoban's credits include It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, From Here on OUT, The Wankers and Mike & Molly. He also briefly appeared in daytime soap operas The Bold and the Beautiful and Passions.
