1985: Guiding Light's India discovered Floyd was a killer.
1986: Santa Barbara's Kirk was released from the hospital.
1996: Days of our Lives' Kristen saw The Woman in White.
2008: As the World Turns' Lily left Oakdale.

On this date in...

1938: The Life of Mary Sothern ended its run on CBS Radio. The show continued in transcription form for four more years.

1963: On The Edge of Night, Nancy Pollock (Ann Flood) and Mike Karr (Laurence Hugo) were married.

1969: On Dark Shadows, Judith (Joan Bennett) called Quentin (David Selby) a coward.

1983: On One Life to Live, Asa (Philip Carey) and Bo (Robert S. Woods) wanted Delilah to choose one of them.



1983: On The Edge of Night, Patricia Devereaux (Caroline Lagerfelt) was strangled to death.

1983: On All My Children, Erica (Susan Lucci) wanted to be "Erica" again.



1985: On Guiding Light, India (Mary Kay Adams) figured out Floyd killed Andy. Kyle (Larkin Malloy) and Mick had a sword fight.



1986: On Santa Barbara, Kirk came home from the hospital. Robert Newman debuted as Kirk Cranston, replacing Joseph Bottoms, who last aired on April 16.



1988: On Another World, Mary (Denise Alexander) and Vince (Robert Hogan) were remarried.

1992: Joseph Campanella aired for the final time as Harper Deveraux on Days of our Lives.

1996: On Days of our Lives, The Woman in White removed her veil. Kristen (Eileen Davidson) approached her and when she got close she screamed.



2003: On All My Children, Kendall (Alicia Minshew) and Greenlee (Rebecca Budig) argued over Michael Cambias' relationship with Kendall. Greenlee insisted Michael was using Kendall to get Boyd's formula to gain control of Fusion Cosmetics, calling him a con artist. Kendall retaliated by mentioning Leo's past, escalating the argument into a catfight. They were shocked when Palmer (James Mitchell) emptied the water out of the vase on both of them. Kendall announced she was quitting and Greenlee left to change clothes. Palmer was surprised that Kendall would leave her company and had a paternal chat with her.

2005: Addison Hoover debuted as Phoebe Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.

2008: Martha Byrne aired for the final time as Lily Walsh Snyder in As The World Turns.
