1976: Mary made her Channel R News debut on Ryan's Hope.
1981: Another World's Mac was furious with Rachel.
1993: Bryan Dattilo debuted as Lucas on Days of our Lives.
2009: As the World Turns' Noah was kidnapped.

On this date in...

1966: On Another World, Katherine Corning (Ann Sheridan) left for San Francisco where she planned on packing up and moving back to Bay City to be near her daughter, Missy Palmer (Carol Roux). Actress Ann Sheridan died after a battle with cancer nine months later at age 51.

1968: On Dark Shadows, Dr. Eric Lang (Addison Powell) told Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) that he could have the physical appearance of Jeff Clark (Roger Davis) and be cured of the curse.



1976: On Ryan's Hope, Mary Ryan (Kate Mulgrew) was a success in her debut on the 6:30 Channel R news telecast.



1981: On Another World, Mac (Douglass Watson) told Rachel (Victoria Wyndham), who wanted Mitch to be Matthew's legal father, she would pay for the implications of her decision. "You're going to ruin all of our lives!" Mac shouted.



1982: On Knots Landing, Richard (John Pleshette) held Laura (Constance McCashin) and their son, Jason, hostage at gunpoint.

1983: On General Hospital, Alan (Stuart Damon) and Rick (Chris Robinson) finally started to realized the nurses at GH had a point.

1993: Bryan Dattilo debuted as Lucas on Days of our Lives.



1999: On Another World, Marley (Ellen Wheeler) and Tyrone (Henry Simmons) bonded, and shared a kiss.

1999: On The Bold and the Beautiful, Amber (Adrienne Frantz) had her first contraction.

1999: On All My Children, Vanessa (Marj Dusay) showed Erica (Susan Lucci) a photo of Erica with her face slashed.



2009: On As the World Turns, Noah (Jake Silbermann) was held hostage by Zoe and Zac.



2010: Actor Robert Brubaker, who played John Martin on Days of our Lives, died at age 93.

  1. Zac and Zoe could have been a great addition to the ATWT cast and added something fresh to the show - but unfortunately they were just made the "psycho of the week". Jake Silbermann and Van Hansis did terrific work when they were kidnapped together - showed the incredible depth of Luke and Noah's love!
