Ratings: 'Days of our Lives' Reaches New All-Time Low

The Live + Same Day daytime ratings are in for the week of April 13-17, 2015. Days of our Lives was down 111,000 viewers to reach a new all-time low. General Hospital was down in total audience but was up 45,000 in the Women 18-34 demo to finish No. 1 for the week.

Below is a breakdown of the daytime soap opera Nielsen ratings by category:

  1. GH was down overall week to week but not as much as YR and Days. Glad to see it up year to year and doing well in the demos. That was a good week for GH story & character wise imo. Haydon & Nik sex, Ned confessing his love to Olivia, return of Ellie and a whole week of my current favorites and most entertaining duo Nina and Franco.

    Poor Days though :( The months leading up to their 50th are going to be very harsh if this trend continues. If they were so far a head I think there could be some easy fixes to some of the central stories.

  2. DAYS is the best soap currently on the air so I am saddened to read about their ratings woes.
