1968: On Dark Shadows, Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) went to Josette's (Kathryn Leigh Scott) grave and commanded her to listen to him. He told Josette he wanted her to return to him and then heard her sobbing voice. Josette told him that the dead must rest. Barnabas went to the Old House to wait for Josette in her room and continued to call for her to come to him. A figure in a white gown walked slowly through the cemetery, into the Old House, and upstairs into the bedroom where Barnabas was waiting. Barnabas was pleased to see her but Josette wanted to return to her grave. He refused to let her go back so she lifted her veil to show him what she had become in death. Barnabas was frightened and repulsed by her horribly disfigured face.

1981: On General Hospital, Heather (Robin Mattson) snuck out of the sanitarium with plans for killing Diana after stealing a nurse's car.

1981: On Another World, Joey (Paul Perri) and Sandy decided to share an apartment together. Liz brought Jim some preparations for Alice’s (Vana Tribbey's debut) homecoming. Jamie stormed into Ken Steele’s office. Blaine visited Clarice, who worried Larry’s meeting with the Commissioner involved Jordan's loan. Jim told her not to interfere when Liz wondered if the feud between Rachel and Alice is over. Blaine told Jordan she doesn’t trust Jason and that Larry may be questioned about the loan. Jerry refused to back up Larry’s confession of being involved in a undercover operation to Commissioner O’Dell. Jordan blackmailed Zachary with his gambling markers in exchange for Larry’s resignation from the police force. Jordan cryptically explained his intentions for Larry to Jess. Ken refused to help Jamie search for the missing equipment orders. Rick accepted the job offer from Russ, who warned that his performance will be monitored. Russ invited Rick to Alice’s homecoming so Rick could see Marianne. Commissioner O’Dell forced Larry to resign from the police force. Marianne felt awkward when Rick mentioned they’d be working together. Larry and Jerry feigned an end to their friendship in front of Blaine, Joey, and Jordan. Alice was updated on Bay City goings on. Joey kissed Blaine after comforting her about Larry. Frankie gossiped with Sandy about Mac and Jamie. Sandy pushed Jamie out of the path of a forklift.
