Maurice Benard Staying Put at 'General Hospital'

Maurice Benard confirmed via Twitter he has renewed his contract and will remain on General Hospital.

The actor offered no details regarding the terms of his new agreement to stay on the show. Benard has been playing mob boss Sonny Corinthos on the ABC soap opera since 1993.
