After his secret is discovered, Rafe (Galen Gering) is fired from the police force; Melanie (Molly Burnett) visits Gabi (Camila Banus) in prison; Will (Guy Wilson) blasts Sonny (Freddie Smith) for not consulting him before taking money out of their joint bank account; Paul (Christopher Sean) gets devastating news.

Tuesday, December 30
Paul tells Sonny that he has never stopped loving him and he wants them to reunite; Melanie warns Jordan (Chrishell Stause) about dating Chad (Billy Flynn); John (Drake Hogestyn) asks Marlena (Deidre Hall) for a chance to start over; Clyde (James Read) seeks out Aiden's (Daniel Cosgrove) services.

Wednesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve)
Paige (True O'Brien) demands an explanation from JJ (Casey Moss) about why he broke up with her; Eric (Greg Vaughan) discovers what Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been up to in regards to Serena (Melissa Archer); Melanie's odd behavior confuses Brady (Eric Martsolf); Chad tells Jordan about his past with Melanie.

Thursday, January 1 (New Year's Day)
Days of our Lives is pre-empted for NBC coverage of the 2015 Winter Classic NHL game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals.

Friday, January 2
JJ tells Paige that he slept with someone else; during a New Year celebration, Melanie and Brady share an unexpected, passionate kiss; Daniel (Shawn Christian) blasts Nicole for sneaking into Serena's room and calls off their date; Sonny's dreams are crushed.
