Kim Matula Not Renewing Her 'Bold and the Beautiful' Contract, Will Be Leaving The Role Of Hope Logan

Kim Matula is not renewing her contract and will be leaving CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. The Emmy-nominated actress has played Hope Logan since 2010.

B&B announced the news on the show's official Twitter page: "We wish #KimMatula the best as she moves on to other opportunities. We love Kim & she will always be a part of the #BoldandBeautiful family."

Scott Clifton, who plays Liam Spencer on the soap, also tweeted about Matula's departure: "Hey guys. It's true, Kim has elected not to renew her contract with B&B. We're so sad to see her go, and yet thrilled to see her shine."

There are no plans to recast at this time, according to a B&B spokesperson.

Matula and Clifton appeared on CBS' The Talk on Wednesday afternoon, along with co-stars Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy) and Darin Brooks (Wyatt), to preview B&B's upcoming Amsterdam episodes. Watch their segment below:

  1. I can not believe that she is leaving because she has grown on me. B&B seems to be pushing Liam and Ivy together. I wonder who will Wyatt will be with.

  3. OMG!!! We have all been waiting over two years for these idiot writers to get Hope and Liam back together again and now THIS!!!!! It is SOOOO unfair! Thank you B&B writers!! Now, what will happen with Liam, Wyatt, the unborn baby and Wyatt's insane mother????? This REALLY stinks BIG TIME!!!! I'm seriously considering not watch the Bold and the Beautiful ever again! I've waited every day for Hope and Liam to reunite, now, it will NEVER happen! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to CBS!!!
