Soap Opera Ratings: 'Days of our Lives' Up in Viewers and the Demos

For the week of September 1-5, 2014, ABC's General Hospital posted gains in Total Viewers (+92K) and Women 18-34 (+15K) and Women 25-54 (+50K). NBC's Days of our Lives rose in Total Viewers (+220K), Women 19-49 (+49K), Women 18-34 (+24K) and Women 25-54 (+51K).

None of the four daytime soaps aired new episodes on Monday, September 1st. Three were pre-empted and ABC broadcast a repeat of General Hospital. The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless were also pre-empted on Friday, September 5th.

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 251,000 (+56,000/same)
2. General Hospital 187,000 (+15,000/-87,000)
3. The Bold and the Beautiful 165,000 (-6,000/-61,000)
4. Days of our Lives 142,000 (+24,000/-59,000)

Women 25-54 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 1,131,000 (-19,000/-16,000)
