Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, Days of our Lives) will direct episodes of General Hospital starting this month, according to the new issue of Soap Opera Digest."She's sort of paid her dues and spent some time learning the show," GH executive producer Frank Valentini said.
Sweeney will also star in and executive produce the upcoming Hallmark Channel Original Movie, Radio Hype.
"Having Alison Sweeney back in a Hallmark Channel Original Movie is perfect. Alison’s first movie for the network, Second Chances was one of the highest rated and we are so eager to work with her again as an actress and executive producer," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President of Programming, Crown Media Family Networks.
