  2. Thank you for the list. I completely forgot the show and I like Kathy Griffin. I hope that she infused the show with some fun but I hear the show was a real drag with a particularly awful red carpet show. I hate how daytime television is so disrespected when folks work so hard to churn out daily programming.

As far as the Daytime Drama-related winners:

    - Thrilled Eileen Davidson won! She DAYS a whole new life last year.
    - Sad that Jane Elliot didn't win but I'm pretty happy about Amelia Heinle being recognized after so long in daytime. I've loved her since LOVING and her reel was great. I wish Amelia and Jane would have tied for the win!
    - I've never been a fan of Eric Marstoff. He's a flat performer though has a consistently well-written character. Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson had better reels and Greg Vaughn was the absolute Best Supporting actor in all of daytime last year.
    - I don't think Chandler Massey deserved the award based on both his submission and his last year of work on DAYS. Daniel Polo had the best reel of the group nominated.
    - Disappointed though not surprised at Y&R being so represented in all of the categories. The show has been at it's creative low-point since Jill Farren Phelps took the helm. Why she continues to be employed in the industry is a travesty. DAYS was the best show of the year with B&B being a close second.
