VH1 Announces Summer 2014 Lineup

VH1 has seen a ratings rise in 2014 up +33% in the adult 18-49 demo year-to-date. The network looks to keep the momentum going with its newly announced summer line-up.

Last summer's breakout series, "Hit the Floor" will kick off the season on Memorial Day Monday, May 26th with the second-season premiere of the network's dramatic scripted-series which averaged 1.9 million viewers in its debut season. Also premiering this summer is the long-awaited Thursday night line-up of "Dating Naked," "#CandidlyNicole" and "LeAnn & Eddie" beginning July 17. Additional series premiering this summer will be "Make Or Break: The Linda Perry Project," "Behind The Music: Linda Perry," "Philly 4th Of July Jam," "Atlanta Exes," "I Love The 2000s," and "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle."

VH1's summer slate is as follows:

"HIT THE FLOOR" PREMIERES MONDAY, MAY 26th AT 9:00PM*

The season one finale shook up the Devil Girls with a new All Star, new Devil Girl Director and several new relationships. Now that Ahsha is single there's room for her and Derek to explore a relationship, but his bad boy reputation might be more than she bargained for. Sloane has taken the job as Devil Girl Director, adding tension to an already strained mother-daughter relationship. Jelena keeps a close eye on both Ahsha and Sloane, watching for any opportunity to get rid of them both. There are love triangles galore as new characters join this juicy soap, set in the world of professional basketball. Zero, a player that rivals Derek and Terrence in ability, joins the Devils and immediately lusts after Jelena. After flirting off and on during season one, Pete and Raquel decide to give a relationship a try. Dating Pete proves to be more of a challenge than Raquel expected, when his estranged, starlet wife Lionel shows up on the scene. One by one, dirt is dug up on our main characters as Devils Nation is rocked by a season long mystery. Expect more, sex, drama, secrets and excitement as well as twelve amazing new dance numbers. The cast includes: Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise, Taylour Paige, Logan Browning, Valery Ortiz, Katherine Bailess, Jonathan McDaniel, McKinley Freeman, Rob Riley and Don Stark. And season two welcomes Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Adam Senn and Brent Antonello.

"Hit the Floor," was created by James LaRosa who also serves as Executive Producer of the series along with Executive Producer Maggie Malina. Bryan Johnson and The Film Syndicate are also executive producing. Susan Levison and Jill Holmes Executive Produce for VH1.

"I LOVE THE 2000's" PREMIERES JUNE 17th-21st AT 8:00PM*

VH1 is ready to celebrate the first decade of the 21st century with "I Love the 2000s" premiering on Tuesday, June 17th at 8PM. This 10-part walk down memory lane will dedicate an hour per year to the trends, fads, scandals and pop culture sensations that transformed the years 2000 through 2009. Viewers will be treated to a cast of comics, musicians, actors and celebrities who will offer their hilarious commentary on the era's most unforgettable moments. Who could forget when 'Bennifer,' "Snakes on a Plane," "Poker Face," and Pokemon were all the rage? Other highlights include Jessica Simpson's buffalo wing debacle, "Desperate Housewives" bringing sexy to the suburbs and these two infamous words: BALLOON BOY. Will it be great? Well, in the words of the lady who put Wasilla, Alaska on the map, "You Betcha!" So put down your copy of "Eat, Pray, Love," put on your favorite Uggs and spritz some Axe Body Spray to prepare for VH1's "I Love the 2000s." The adventure begins Tuesday, June 16 with 'I Love 2000' at 8PM* followed by 'I Love 2001' at 8PM*. The two-a-day format continues throughout the rest of the week in the same time slots picking up Wednesday with 'I Love 2002' and concluding with 'I Love 2009' on Saturday night.

"PHILLY 4th OF JULY JAM" PREMIERES JULY 4th AT 8:00PM*

VH1 and Palladia are celebrating Independence Day with fireworks and four-time Grammy award-winning band, The Roots for the fourth annual Philly 4th of July Jam. Kicking off in the City of Brotherly Love, The Philly 4th of July Jam, a signature event of the multi-day Wawa Welcome America! festival, will be simulcast on VH1 and Palladia on Friday, July 4 from 8-11PM ET and live streamed on VH1.com and the VH1 App. Hometown favorites The Roots, will perform and serve as the house band and an incredible talent line up will be announced soon. Capping off the musical event, the evening will include a spectacular fireworks display over the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. Billed as the "Largest Free Concert in America," the Philly 4th of July Jam is a celebration of freedom and music and an unforgettable, entertainment-filled night that in the past years has featured some of the top artists in the music industry including: John Mayer, Jill Scott, Ne-Yo, J. Cole, Hunter Hayes and Grace Potter.

The Jam is coordinated by Welcome America, Inc. and its Executive Director Desiree Peterkin-Bell, along with Executive Producers Scott Mirkin and Shawn Gee. Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson and Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter of The Roots serve as musical directors for the Jam. Executive producers for VH1 are Lee Rolontz, Rick Krim and Keshia Williams.

"BEHIND THE MUSIC: LINDA PERRY" PREMIERES JULY 16th AT 9:00PM*

In the latest episode of VH1's iconic bio series, Linda Perry candidly reveals, for the first time publically, the mental and physical abuse she suffered as a child. She turned her angst into emotionally charged songs and soared to rock stardom as the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes. But at her peak, Linda quit the band and fell into a heroin habit. However, she went on to reinvent herself as a producer and songwriter for the stars, penning hits for Pink, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and her greatest triumph, "Beautiful" for Christina Aguilera. She also started her own label, and was the first to sign and break British singer-songwriter James Blunt in the United States. Along with her professional success, Linda also found solace in her personal life, falling in love and marrying her partner and soulmate, actress Sara Gilbert. This episode features interviews with Sara Gilbert, Pink, Christina Aguilera and Courtney Love.

The series will play with the idea of what it really means to be naked in the search for love. Would your quest be more successful if you truly had nothing to hide? Filmed on a remote exotic locale, each close-ended episode will feature a man and a woman as they each date two different, naked suitors.

"#CANDIDLYNICOLE" PREMIERES THURSDAY, JULY 17TH AT 10:00PM*

"#CandidlyNicole," produced by Telepictures and World of Wonder and based on the successful AOL online series of the same name, is set to premiere with 8 half-hour episodes. Voted one of the "best Twitter feeds" by Time magazine, Nicole will take audiences on a fun and intimate ride through her own amusing point-of-view based on her outlandish reflections on social media (where she has more than four million followers). The show will detail her daily adventures and give insight into her decisions on style, relationships, her work life and her journey into adulthood. Whether it's having a discussion with her dad about who his favorite daughter is on Father's Day, meeting with a doctor about having her tramp stamp removed or helping her best friend find a date, Nicole has no problem offering her uncensored opinion to everyone she meets (even if they didn't ask for it). Her one-of-a-kind, tongue-in-cheek commentary inspires people to laugh, learn and shake their head in wonderment.

"LEANN & EDDIE" PREMIERES THURSDAY, JULY 17 AT 10:30PM*

Inside the sanctity of their world, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are a typical normal modern family -- a married couple, who both have careers and are also learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons. "T.I. & TINY: THE FAMILY HUSTLE" PREMIERES MONDAY, AUGUST 18th AT 9:00PM*

Fresh off his sold out America's Most Wanted Tour with Lil' Wayne, his Grammy nomination for "Blurred Lines," and his starring role on Showtime's "House of Lies," multi-hyphenate T.I. is back in Atlanta with his entrepreneur wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, and they are ready to focus on family. For another season, America gets an inside look at the lives of hip hop's favorite family in 12 new half-hour episodes. The kids are growing up and reaching new milestones everyday as Niq Niq, their eldest daughter, graduates from high school, Domani works with Russell Simmons, Messiah continues his passion for fashion, T.I. is coming to grips with Deyjah having a boyfriend, Major and King continue to get in trouble and an exciting new addition joins the family. "ATLANTA EXES" PREMIERES MONDAY, AUGUST 18 AT 9:30PM*

This summer, VH1's "Hollywood Exes" sorority will charter a new chapter in 'The ATL' with the premiere of "Atlanta Exes." As the thriving music and entertainment capital of the South, Atlanta provides the ideal backdrop and group of ex-wives for the successful franchise's extension. The cast, featuring the once significant others of an elite list of A-list men, has no shortage of fabulousness, ambition, love, and drama. "Atlanta Exes" stars Tameka Raymond, who once enjoyed the perks and privileges that come with being married to an international music superstar, and now dedicates much of her time to the charitable foundation she started in memory of her late son Kile, interior designer to the stars Christina Johnson (ex-wife of Cee-Lo Green), and author and businesswoman Monyetta Shaw (ex-fiancé of Ne-Yo), who is busy penning a children's book series based on the lively personality of her toddler. Also starring are entrepreneur Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of former pro football player Ray Buchanan), who co-owns a dessert catering company and also has a business that specializes in creating custom bedazzled hookah pipes, and actress, comedian, and producer Torrei Hart (ex-wife of Kevin Hart).
