  2. I liked what I saw. It's kinda of like a dramedy series.

  3. I'm frustrated that the captions were not valid. I wasn't impressed by the storyline. The only story I was able to follow was KMH finding out WW is having an affair with NL character. Otherwise I was lost.

  4. I think the show has potential, but I can't even say what the characters names were. And I'm not a prude, but I could do without the sex scenes. The show is short and sweet, so why waste time on smut?

  8. Okay, I watched. I was hoping for a more "soap-like" series/serial. I won't say what I think this is. Anyway, I wanted it to be more accessible. The only thing, besides soap faves being on screen, was the friendship between the lead character and her assistant. I cannot invest in this. Too many old episodes of soaps like Neighbours for to spend time on this. I love soap fave actors in this, but what I hate most about this is that everyone has to be a quirky character and not someone I can instantly relate to. Kind of off-putting. I'll take Helen Daniels any day. Sorry, JMO!

  9. To clarify, I DO like the friendship between the lead and her assistant. The sex didn't really put me off. I would just love to see a web series (soap) that is fine with being a soap and not trying to be something else or ground-breaking (or relevant or topical or whatever). Sadly, to me the fictional "soap" was more interesting than Tainted Dreams. With so many talented actors, it could have been SO good. I'd like to see more of these actors actual personalities and NOT the quirkiness, etc. And the voice-over reminded me way to much of Revenge. I could have just said nothing, but I was so hoping this show would be the one that just wanted to be a soap and nothing "special" like Revenge and all. Too bad.

  10. For web series to REALLY take off, producers need to amp up the enjoyment level for viewers. I would have preferred Alicia have more of a SL, even a back story. She could have just taken out a photo and looked at it longingly. The one that got away. Hmm, what's the story there? Maybe she's just overwhelmed by all the industry and wishes for simpler times. Maybe she still loves someone who will show up again (hopefully he's not Miguel's killer!) I would have preferred that to the cliffhanger at the end of ep 3. Alicia's character didn't draw me in the way I would have liked. Kelley's character had more impact, but it was hard to empathize with her because she was so "dramatic". I can't even say it's a GOOD START. I was way too disappointed. Someday there'll be a web soap that makes us TV viewers swoon. Still waiting . . .
