CBS Daytime Celebrates Halloween With Themed Shows on October 31

CBS Daytime treats viewers to special Halloween themed shows of THE TALK, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET’S MAKE A DEAL, Thursday, October. 31 on CBS.

This Halloween, fly away to Never Never Land when THE TALK celebrates with a magical “Peter Pan”-themed show, Thursday, Oct. 31 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), on the CBS Television Network. Hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood as they welcome costume-clad guests Michael Weatherly (CBS’s NCIS), Billy Gardell and Reno Wilson (CBS’s MIKE & MOLLY) to THE TALK’s own Pirate-themed dream land where adventure, surprises and a little pixie dust are in store. Also, celebrity chef Anne Burrell joins in on the fun as she shares a delicious Peter Pan-themed menu, perfect for Halloween entertaining.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is visited by his granddaughter, Faith, on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, while she trick or treats with her father, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Tensions rise around Genoa City as Nick’s ex, Avery Clark (Jessica Collins), confronts Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about a big secret she’s keeping from her family. Meanwhile, Adam (Michael Muhney) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) unite as they wait for important news about their son, Connor, and Billy (Billy Miller) remembers his daughter, Delia, during his first Halloween without her.

On THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, lovers Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont) take time off from planning their mountain climbing excursion in Aspen to celebrate Halloween. Deep in the Colorado woods, Brooke brings the "wild life" into the bedroom. Bare attack!

Things get spooky this Halloween on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning game show THE PRICE IS FRIGHT, as daytime’s #1-rated series and the longest-running game show in television history is transformed into a haunted house. Fans won’t believe their eyes as Count Drew-cula flies in for a grand entrance and the disembodied head of George Gray invites audience members to “Come on Down”… if they dare! Contestants will have a chance to play Halloween-themed games, such as “Yucky Seven” (Lucky Seven), “Witch” (Switch), “Bat Race” (Rat Race) and a scary game of Cliff Hanger with the Yodely Guy as Grim Reaper. Prizes so good they’re scary will be presented by zombie models Rachel Reynolds and special guest ghoul Melissa Ordway of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Items up for grabs include a 55-inch HDTV, a pair of glow-in-the-dark bicycles, trips to London and New Orleans, a new motorcycle and a new car. As an added treat, everyone in the audience gets a frightening surprise… tickets to one of the scariest theme parks in the world!

THE PRICE IS FRIGHT zombie model Rachel Reynolds and guest ghoul Melissa Ordway, star of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, will participate in a live twitter chat, Thursday, Oct. 31 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET). A $23,000 Big Deal of the Day and trips to Paris and Mexico highlight the Halloween edition of LET’S MAKE A DEAL. In addition, host Wayne Brady will offer themed opportunities for Traders, including guessing how many pieces of Halloween candy are in a jar for cash and apple bobbing for a chance to win a roadster. Zonks will be scarier than ever, as Traders will have to avoid them in order to get over $20,000 in cash.
