  1. A couple things: Laurinda Barrett portrayed the role of Edith Cushing on FOR RICHER, FOR POORER. Nancy Marchand played the role when the series was titled LOVERS AND FRIENDS, not FRIENDS AND LOVERS. Laurinda also played the memorable role of murderess housekeeper Molly Sherwood on THE EDGE OF NIGHT.

  2. Today would have been the late great Helen Wagner's 95th birthday, how I know it, it's my 40th birthday and she was 55 when I was born. I miss her so very much. I hope she is resting in peace with my grandma and all the other soap stars that are greatly missed.
