  1. Season 3 ? I still wish I hadn't watch it. Everything I loved about that show got destroyed or killed. No way I will watch it again... Was it to clear the field for the US?
Season 4 ? I didn't watch it on principle (no Ianto, no Torchwood) so I cannot comment... But none of my friends, even if the scope is limited, liked it... not about to watch it...
Cann't they just bring bak the show I used to like? You know, the one with campy darks stories, with Jack front center, with Ianto, the ream, the hub, Cardiff, the SUV, the alien of the week?

  2. Other than the fact that there is no Ianto (which in itself makes this a failure), and that it is a Gwenfest (which also makes this a failure), this was NOT Torchwood! Everything that made Torchwood unique and the wonderful show I love was lost and this is a laughable hollow joke of what Torchwood used to be. Not even the U.S. writers could save it and that includes the ones who had done excellent work with other shows. This was their worse work. Jack was reduced to a minor character and not even a fraction of the awesome character he was in the first two season. I can understand him being upset over losing Ianto, but that shouldn't leave him so flat.

Instead of tanishing BBC America, it should be buried somewhere deep within the Blessing (did anyone ever address what the Sylurians thought of that?).

Yeah, I'm glad I don't have cable anymore, because this news only makes me sad.

Bring back classic Torchwood (with everything from the first two great seasons - Jack, Ianto, Tosh, Owen. We can skip Gwen, but bring Rhys in. The Hub, Myfanwy, the SUV, the tourist center all in Cardiff) with new episodes and leave that "bigger, better and improved" for other shows. Both Children of Earth and Miracle Day were the opposite of "bigger, better and improved".
