Gloria Loring on Robin Thicke's Peformance With Miley Cyrus: 'I Can Never Unsee It'

It seems like everyone has shared their thoughts on the Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke performance Sunday night on the MTV VMAs. Thicke mother, former DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Gloria Loring, was bound to weigh in and she did. Loring watched the performance for the first time with Yahoo's omg! Insider and gave her on the spot reaction.

She told omg! Insider that the problem is now she cannot "unsee" what she just watched.

"I was not expecting her to be putting her butt that close to my son," Loring said.

"I don't understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do," she continued. "I just don't understand. I think she's misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial."

Loring played Liz Chandler on DAYS from 1980 to 1986. She's also a singer and performer and scored a #2 pop hit on the "Friends and Lovers" duet with Carl Anderson. She co-composed the theme songs to DIFF'RENT STROKES and THE FACTS OF LIFE with ex-husband Alan Thicke.
