THE FOSTERS Hits Ratings Series High; SWITCHED AT BIRTH Scores Season High & Most-Watched Telecast in 5 Months

It was a good ratings night for the ABC Family Monday night primetime soaps.

At 8 o'clock, SWITCHED AT BIRTH delivered its most-watched telecast in five months in Total Viewers (1.76 million) and Viewers 12-34 (969,000/1.1 rating) - since 2/4/13 and 1/28/13, respectively - setting season highs in the demos.

SWITCHED AT BIRTH stood as Monday's #1 scripted cable TV telecast at 8 p.m. in Adults 18-34 (588,000/0.9 rating), Women 18-34 (446,000/1.3 rating), Women 18-49 (697,000/1.1 rating), Viewers 12-34 (969,000/1.1 rating) and Females 12-34 (788,000/1.7 rating).

· SWITCHED AT BIRTH registered solid gains over is season premiere (6/10/13) in target demos, including by 23% in Adults 18-34 (588,000 vs. 479,000), by 9% in Adults 18-49 (928,000 vs. 855,000), by 16% in Viewers 12-34 (969,000 vs. 835,000) and by 12% in Females 12-34 (788,000 vs. 706,000).

At 9 o'clock, THE FOSTERS soared to series highs in Total Viewers (1.89 million), Adults 18-34 (525,000/0.8 rating), Adults 18-49 (805,000/0.6 rating), Viewers 12-34 (1.15 million/1.3 rating) and Females 12-34 (909,000/2.0 rating), out-performing its series launch (6/3/13) by double digits in the target demos.

Competitively, THE FOSTERS ranked as cable TV's #2 telecast in the hour in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34, and was Monday's #1 TV telecast in Female Teens (539,000/4.6 rating).

· Versus its series launch, THE FOSTERS surged by 33% in Total Viewers (1.89 million vs. 1.42 million), by 18% in Adults 18-34 (525,000 vs. 445,000), by 13% in Adults 18-49 (805,000 vs. 711,000), by 60% in Viewers 12-34 (1.15 million vs. 719,000) and by 43% in Females 12-34 (909,000 vs. 636,000).

  1. There are too many people that are watching abc family shows On on demand and dvr tom ascheim needs to get the abc family raitings off of on demand so tom can review the raitings and fix them and make changes
