NEWS: Bradford Anderson Keeping Fires Buring at GH, Bryan Craig Breaks Hand & Wrist, Chrishell Stause to Play Vixen

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Bradford Anderson on moving from contract to recurring status
"I've been on the show for seven years, and I'm still sticking around," he tells In Depth. "I'd just like to flex my creative muscles and dip my toe in the creative waters but still keep the fires burning at GH. I feel so incredibly lucky to be playing this character, to have created him and to see where the twists and turns of his development take him. Spinelli has plenty of adventures ahead. I'm here, and I hope you will be, too."

GH's Bryan Craig breaks his hand and wrist
"I was playing football and was running really fast and tripped," he confides. "I landed on it and broke my hand and wrist." And unfortunately, because broken bones can take a month or two to heal, the actor will be in a cast for that time... and so will his Port Charles alter ego! "They did write it into the show," Craig reveals. But what accident could befall poor Morgan?

Behind-the-Scenes at the Daytime Emmys With the Cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Kris Jenner, Dr. Oz, and More
James Scott on DAYS' EJami: "It’s really the beginning of this fun relationship with E.J and Samantha, where they get to be more of themselves. You're going to love it."

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Spoilers: Chrishell Stause to Play Vixen
"I've been told I can say that my character has some secrets, which I think is great. And she's very opposite from ["AMC's"] Amanda, which is fun, because it's something I've never played before," she said.

The 31-year old did allow a morsel of information about who her character would be interactng with in Salem.
"I've been working a lot with Galen Gering [Rafe Hernandez] and Lauren Koslow [Kate DiMera]" she teased. "They're really cool."

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL's Winsor Harmon starred, co-produced and co-directed the movie Cathedral Canyon
Making cameos in the film are Lorenzo Lamas (ex-Hector, B&B), David Fralick (ex-Larry, Y&R) and Harmon's on-screen "pop," John McCook (Eric), who plays a drinking, gambling womanizer Senator in the film. "His role is pretty different from Eric Forrester," says Harmon, "and my character is so unlike Thorne Forrester that it isn't even funny. This is a guy who is a badass."

90210's Matt Lanter Ties the Knot
"Woke up this morning with an ocean view and a new bride. #blessed @angelastacy" Lanter tweeted Saturday, along with a picture from what appears to be a hotel balcony.

Replied Angela Stacy (who now goes by Angela Lanter): "Love my husband!!"

Why Actors Need To Think Before They Tweet
Kevin Brockman, Executive Vice President, Global Communications, Disney/ABC Television Group spoke to Backstage about this topic. "We are very actively involved in guiding our actors and productions in the social media space. At ABC and ABC Family, after series are green-lit and before production begins, our social media and PR teams walk the actors and producers through a social media 101 that points out the potential positives and negatives in these arenas. Series spoilers are a large part of the discussion and our rule of thumb is ask your executive producer or Publicity team before posting anything that may be a problem. Our actors, especially on our shows with mystery elements, like SCANDAL, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and TWISTED, are very cognizant of this, as they don't want to hurt the viewing experience for their fans."

  1. Love GH!!! Watch it or record it everyday, but so wish Jason was back. He's good on Y&R, but it would be great for him to be back on GH to handle things that are going on right now. Love shawn but Jason wouldn't have missed!
