THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Classic Photo Of The Day (Sally & Snapper)

In honor of the upcoming 40th anniversary of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (YR40), We Love Soaps will be posting a "Classic Photo of the Day" for the rest of the month. Today's photo is of Sally McGuire and Snapper Foster, played by Lee Crawford and William Gray Espy. The triangle of Snapper/Chris/Sally was one of the most famous in Y&R history. Snapper and Sally eventually had a son together, Chuckie.

Crawford said the first line in the very first Y&R episode: "Kind of a drag, huh? Stuck in a place like Genoa City ... God, I feel so restless."

  1. In case anyone's interested, that Snapper-Sally scene is included in the "Genoa City Says Hello!" first episode video at the GlobalTV website (Canada). This vid's not geo-blocked, so Americans can watch.

btw - One thing I noticed in the Leslie-Chris scene is that "infamous" wallpaper that lined The Brooks Family staircase is not there yet .. lol!
