1918: Future daytime and primetime soap star, Dennis Patrick, was born. He died in 2002 at age 75. His memorable roles included Vaughn Leland in DALLAS, Paul Stoddard in DARK SHADOWS and Patrick Chapin in RITUALS.
1967: On DARK SHADOWS, Burke, Vicki, and David returned and Vicki delivered the news about Guthrie's death as Burke carried David upstairs to bed.
1977: On ANOTHER WORLD, Iris (Beverlee McKinsey) lied to a jealous Brian that Corrine had phoned Craig.
1980: On DALLAS, Jock, Miss Ellie, Bobby and Pam visited Amanda, Jock’s first wife. Vaughn Leland told J.R. he was joining the deal with the cartel members who are buying Ewing Oil’s Asian wells, not realizing at the time the wells were about to be nationalized. Everyone in the cartel became a suspect after J.R. was shot a week later.
1980: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Nola confessed to murdering Margo and framing Draper Scott.
1996: On ALL MY CHILDREN, Erica (Susan Lucci) had to choose between two men. A special PSA aired at the end of the episode.
1996: On GENERAL HOSPITAL, Jason met Robin on the bridge.
