David Kreizman Now WWE Head Writer

According to a tweet by wrestling producer/writer Court Bauer, former daytime soap writer David Kreizman (GUIDING LIGHT, ALL MY CHILDREN, AS THE WORLD TURNS, GENERAL HOSPITAL) has been promoted to WWE head writer, making him one of the key minds behind WWE's week-to-week story lines on RAW, SMACKDOWN, and monthly PPV events.

"David Kreizman, who started with #WWE months ago is now a WWE head writer," Bauer wrote. "He is a Daytime Emmy award winning soap opera writer."

Kreizman has been nominated for nine Daytime Emmy Awards for writing, winning in 2007 as part of the GUIDING LIGHT team. He also won a WGA Award in 2005 for GUIDING LIGHT.

  1. Seems like a perfect fit to me! He was not suited to daytime dramas, despite landing job after job and leaving chaos in his wake.

  2. From soaps to WWE? That's a strange switch. Guess you gotta take jobs where you can get them.

  3. I don't think it's a stretch at all. WWE is very melodramatic and requires lots of new dialogue multiple times a week like soap operas. Best of luck to Mr. Kreizman.
