  2. DaytimeDrama, can you not watch on your computer? One thing I do with a lot of my favorite web series is connect my laptop to the TV in the living room and watch on TV so I can kick back on the couch.

    1. Good Idea. Also u can use Hulu through a gaming console like the Wii or box if you have one.

  3. Sadly, if DaytimeDrama is from Canada, we can not watch on our computers...Not available here. :-(

  4. Maybe I missed it, but what time of the day will these be available?

  5. Sucks that we can't get it in Canada though. Wish the U.S would stop forgetting about the fans north of the border...Yeah that's right, there is something north of the border!

  6. AMC seems to be lacking most of my favorite characters. I have a feeling that I won't be watching it as much as I used to. Guess time will tell.

  7. Really need a return of Susan Lucci as Erica Kane and Michael E. Knight as Tad Martin for AMC to be complete.

  10. Donna, the shows are free on Hulu.

  11. @Joelle, it is not the US that prohibits you from watching U.S. programming. That would be your own country that does that.

  12. I wish it would be available (even on a delayed basis) for a cable channel we can watch on a regular TV..for those with no access to Hulu on their satellite services or do not have a "smart" TV.

  13. One Life to Live & AMC are going to be on Free Hulu. If you go online and check the website there are two different versions of Hulu. One where you don't have to pay anything, and one you do. They will be running on both of them. The free one, and the one where people pay money on. So if you don't want to pay any money for Hulu u can still watch both shows. That goes as well for itunes. Itunes have free shows on there u just have to look for them. People please read the fine print.

  14. Some of you guys are just clueless. Seriously, you're going to ask "what time of day" it's available? It's available at the time you put your butt in the chair to watch it. And it's FREE on Hulu....reading the article might have been your first clue.

  15. OK I just tried to watch a video to see what HULU was like, and it was Once Upon A Time. One episode. Of course it said "HULU Plus subscription required". So I sure hope that is not going to be the case with AMC. I will be highly ticked if they trick us into this just to say "Oops! You need to pay to see these."

  16. nope..no John McBain.. Michael's under contract with GH as is Kristen(Starr). I thought that Roger(todd) was too but maybe he was just recurring like Kassie(blair) was. I'm a little dissapointed that they recast Destiny & Matthew but the others might not have been available to come back.
I'm hoping that Victor storyline will be one of the ones that is on the front burner.. since Victor was one of the last people to be seen all tied up. I think they might have talked about him on GH but I don't really remember..

  18. Ok also what about ITunes? Can I get that on my Kindle? Does it cost anything? And if you pay do you get ads as well? I am very frustrated about the whole "pay a fee and still get no skip ads" crap.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Also if they get high ratings that means more actors and actresses and bigger bigger networks

  22. I can't wait!!! Brooke is back on AMC and I have missed Viki on OLTL.

  23. Glad my soap families are coming back, but VERY disappointed that Shennell Edmonds won't return as Destiny Evans. I was impressed that OLTL featured a beautiful, full-sized, darker-skinned young lady in a major role instead of relegating her to the sidelines in an almost non-existent role such as receptionist or nurse.

  24. i love one life to live. i was happy they are coming back. but i don't think that i will pay to watch it. It sucks!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Carla, Shennell was offered a chance to reprise her role, but she opted to stay in college instead, so you can't begrudge her that. They tried to bring her back. It was not to be.

  26. I your show, love that some have move to general hosptail, but I miss the show on t.v

  27. If you own a roku you can watch it on your TV!! So excited!

  30. Wondering if they will pick up where they left off?? AMC...who shot who??? Since Adam is back and they have a new JR can we assume it was Erica? Hmmmmm.......

  31. I have been watching AMC on Direct TV Soapnet... it is the earlier shows, but at least it's something.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Finally --- They are back --- I will watch on HuLu but I also hope to see it soon on network OR cable TV! These 2 shows deserve to be on regular TV!!

  33. can't wait for AMC and OLTL to come back we fans have been waiting, :) yeahhhhhhhh!!!!

  34. Love it & am very excited for the the return of these two soaps!! That said, I also feel people need to be patient & understanding of the Actors & actersses that had to move on. I've heard alot of them would like to come back but have other obligations now, & are trying to work on there schedules to make it happen. Remember nobody really wanted to leave these shows so lets give them a chance to come back!!

  35. I'm very sad that Trevor St. John won't be returning as Victor Manning. On the very last episode they showed him alive, tied up and being held hostage. Now the show is coming back, he won be back and nobody will know he's alive???? WTH????

    1. Forgot about that. so true. then they could actually leave roger howarth on GH. Lots of potential good storyline here.

  36. I bet if both show get on a cable channel, they will be a six month to a year behind the web episodes.

  37. I must say I can't wait for the return of oltl. I have so enjoyed the characters mixture into GH. I hate to see Todd (Roger) move back to OLTL. he is great with his chemistry with new characters on GH. I am a Carly Todd fan. Sorry didn't miss AMC as much.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I find it hard to believe if you missed your soaps so much that u wouldnt be watching GH. On there you can get all the John McBain you want to see. He has great chemistry with Kelly Monaco (Sam). also playing a dual role right now.

  39. will you be able to watch it on hulu plus as well or just regular hulu ?

    ReplyDelete
  40. You don't have to watch it only on your computer. It will cost you to invest in a roku box, an apple tv box or even a dvd which allows you to receive hulu shows on your tv as well as on you computers, tablets etc. The roku box starts at 49.99 (That's basic and all you need.) AND you have the benefits of watching other shows.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Are you saying if you're from CANADA you CAN NOT get it ??? That's terrible !!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. bring it on!!! i miss you already ;) welcome back into our lives

    ReplyDelete
  43. Will I be able to watch on my kindle fire hd tablet on the free hulu app. ?

I m so exited to c them both coming back, would be disappointed if I can't watch them.

If I subscribe to hulu would I be able to watch then?

  45. So happy that AMC is coming back... even if it's only for 30 minutes a day.... Just so happy to be getting them back! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  46. So happy both shows are coming back and will be available for free to watch, but where is Kendall on AMC and Jessica and Kyle/Oliver on OLTL? I was hoping for their returns as well. but I'll take what I can get and hope for the best. Welcome back to both soaps and the characters I've loved for years.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I was surprised they did not mention John McBain. However I think Starr is pretty much set on GH now. I think the ABC is still trying to work out some sort of share thing with Prospect Park so GH can continue to have Todd Manning, Starr Manning and John McBain. It would be in PP's best interests as it will get people more interested in watching the new OLTL. I haven't watched OLTL since the 80's but I do love Todd and John and hope they can continue on GH which I have watched religiously since the late 70's.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I cant wait for them to come back but are they going to start where they both left off because they left it open who did he shoot on AMC and on OLTL Victor was alive

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love that OLTL and AMC is coming back but really doesn't everyone think it should be on cable, suppose this you rush home to see the soaps on big TV and you only have limited time, gez got to hook up computer to TV,time, time, just saying.Anyway so glad its just hear at last!!
I also agree with previous texters we ALL agree need TAD,EICA,JOHN MCBAIN,need to come back or make appearances for us baby boomers.Welcome back!!

  50. My understanding is that more actors will be announced; there still may be an opportunity to have our voices heard!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Im not that upset about Erica not returning, i mean, she was one of my favorite characters, but she had her run.

    ReplyDelete
  52. No Amanda and Jake from All my children? and Jessica and Brody and John are missing from One life to live? such a disappointment

    ReplyDelete
  53. I haven't paid for cable in YEARS. Everything free on my computer. And I have a digital box for my TVs that the government sold for cheap when digital took over, no monthly fees. Its a small thing to learn how to connect your computer to the TV, which I'm sure your local radio shack guy (or gal) can show you and help you purchase whatever connector you need. Be AMAZED at how much you get for FREE and can watch on your tv, even Hulu. Of course, for those who have the big screen tvs, you might want a Roku or something like that, but if you paid for a big screen, whats a few more bucks to buy a roku. The only thing I ever pay for is Netflix, and I have more on demand tv than Cable could ever offer, and at $7.99/mo, so much better than cable. History in the making to see it move to Hulu.. just amazing.

  54. Love that these shows are coming back, but what about the canceled CBS soaps? I loved ATWT s much.

  56. Anyone know if a Roku would help Barbara Hubbard's concern about having to deal with connecting computer to TV. It would be much easier with Roku ready to go, no? (My computer is my TV so I'm not a Roku knowledeable person)

    ReplyDelete
  57. @lupteach - If these shows do half as well as I think they will, I can't imagine companies not wanting to snatch up the built in audiences of the other great shows of many generations too. I wasn't even much of a AMC person but I'm gonna watch it just because these reboots sound more exciting than the originals.

    ReplyDelete
  58. For those of you in Canada who say you won't be able to watch, go to the Prospect Park/The Online Network website and see if you're allowed on that site, because the episodes will also be there.

    ReplyDelete
  59. so this program its free for 1 week what the hell, but before u can watch it u need to pay $7.99 what type of lie.its like netflix at least netflix its free for a month....

  60. SO many people asking questions that can be answered if they simply read the entire article!

Comment above mine is a classic case! Not sure WHERE Mara Rosa got the idea that it's only free for a week then you have to pay.

This covers how to view - INCLUDING free viewing:

"Brand new, 30-minute episodes of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE will be available to stream online weekdays in HD (when available) via the free Hulu (www.hulu.com) service and to the millions of Hulu Plus subscribers watching on connected TVs, mobile phones, tables and PCs. In addition, the iTunes Store will offer both series via iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and Mac and PC, making these venerable dramas available in a new format that suits the viewing habits of the digital generation."

The very last paragraph in the story gives additional info on how to access, and the cost if you want to go with Hulu premium.
