CBS's two daytime dramas—THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL—both posted impressive week-to-week increases in key women demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending February 8.
Compared to last week, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was up +15% in in women 18-49 (1.5/09 from 1.3/08), +14% in women 18-34 (0.8/05 from 0.7/04), +11% in women 25-54 (2.1/12 from 1.9/11) and +1% in viewers (4.76m from 4.70m).
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL was up week-to-week by +17% in women 18-34 (0.7/04 from 0.6/04), +9% in women 18-49 (1.2/07 from 1.1/07) and +1% in viewers (3.59m from 3.54m).
Meanwhile, THE TALK, CBS's weekday talk show, soared to another all-time high weekly audience.
THE TALK averaged 2.54 million viewers, up +16% from the same week last year. In key demographics, THE TALK averaged 1.1/06 in women 25-54 and 0.8/05 in women 18-49 (tied with THE VIEW).
