90210 Canceled By The CW, Will End Its Run In May

The CW has decided to not renew 90210. The network will end the primetime soap opera in May after five seasons, according to TVLine.

The series finale is set to air on Monday, May 13, and may be paired with a one-hour retrospective.

Ratings for 90210 this season slid from a million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating in the opening, to under 600,000 viewers and a 0.3, shedding a significant chunk of its lead-in, THE CARRIE DIARIES.

  1. Last season was so bad I thought that was end. This season was the best I have seen since season 3 when Teddy came out. The problem is they wrote the parents too soon. there was no moral base. (what made the original great was how the walshs brought all the spoiled brats longing for a good family and eventually growing up) everyone was was making the mistakes over and over and not getting smart. where were the social issues of the real world that made the original educational?
