PREVIEW: HART OF DIXIE & EMILY OWENS, M.D.

The CW is all-new on Tuesday, January 15 with the latest episodes of HART OF DIXIE and EMILY OWENS, M.D.

HART OF DIXIE kicks things off at 8 p.m. ET/PT with "Old Alabama." With Lavon (Cress Williams) preoccupied with his personal life, he lets his Mayoral duties slip at the worst time, as BlueBell's Pioneer Day is fast approaching and a reporter from Southern Living magazine is in town. Seeing that he needs help, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) volunteer to help him out by playing BlueBell's "Founding Couple."

Zoe is also trying a new tact when it comes to her relationship with Wade, which has her taking on many new projects. Lemon (Jaime King) and AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) devise a plan to get Lavon to let them cater the First Feast, in order to get some publicity for their new business.

Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) gives advice to Brick (Tim Matheson) on how to handle his new relationship.

EMILY OWENS follows at 9 p.m. ET/PT with "Emily and. . .the Social Experiment." After a year long absence, Dr. A.J. Aquino (guest star J.R. Ramirez, "House of Payne") returns to Denver Memorial, but before he can rejoin the staff, the Chief insists that he make peace with Dr. Bandari (Necar Zadegan). Emily (Mamie Gummer) is tasked with treating a patient who claims to be a psychic, and is convinced that her tarot cards predict her own impending death. Elsewhere, Cassandra (Aja Naomi King) and Dr. Bandari treat a patient who needs a lung transplant, but Micah's (Michael Rady) discovery of a new medical issue leaves the patient with a tough decision.

Meanwhile, Emily decides to test her theory that Will (Justin Hartley) was jealous of her recent date, so Tyra (Kelly McCreary) offers to teach Emily how to flirt.
